From Out Of The Mouths Of Babes ....
My son Logan just turned six. Wednesday, I sat next to him as he practiced violin. He seemed frustrated, which I took to mean he was struggling to learn the notes on his new song, "When The Saints Go Marching In."
Suddenly he let out an anguished howl and began sweeping the bow back-and-forth across one of the strings, as if he were punishing it.
I said, "Logan, what's wrong?"
He shouted, "There's something wrong with my G-string!"
My son.

Such a classic moment. I am sorry I missed it. So did you keep a straight face?
Bobby-
I'm glad that you've started a blog! This should be interesting. I'll put up a link to yours on mine.
Okay, so I've gotten SO many blank looks because I am constantly breaking my G String (on the guitar, people, on the guitar) and I always unintentionally say it outloud.
Something is always up with the G string. It is always the first to break...I guess it's just too skimpy of a string.
See ... Logan's violin, Nikki's guitar -- it is a divine conspiracy. Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor? I bet He's all like, "I'll mess with that string again so he/ she will blurt out a frustrated comment and everyone will laugh."
Tom, I did maintain composure, barely, and only because he's in a major drama king stage and would have run from the room in anger if he thought I was making fun of him.
P.S. Nikki, I will post a link to your blog (yours too, Tom, if you'd like) as soon as I figure out how to do it. I'm a technological illiterate.
Oh I can show you how to do links....after I make yet another blog muahahahah.....yeah I can show ya, it's easier than you think it is.
That is too funny... Logan and his G string. Too bad you didn't catch that on video. Americas Most Funniest would have loved to have that one. Seizure later...
