How Many People Have Your Name?
A place for the weary travelers to drop their packs and warm their hands by the hearth. Listen to the old men telling lies by the checker board or the young troubadour playing a song of courtly love. Or, if reality's your thing, read my stuff. "There is only one difference between a madman and me. I am not mad." -- Salvador Dali (1904-1989) Spanish surrealist painter

Turns out there are 505 people named Emily Carter in the U.S. but then I searched under my maiden name and apparently there are 0 people named Emily Greenslade. It didn't even turn up in their database...

WOW that's a lot of "me"
332 of me
35 people have my name. One is a famous author (yes, I have googled myself). But here is the kicker:
More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name Sarah are female.
Does this mean there is some poor man out there named Sarah? Or are they just trying to leave room for statistical error? Still.
Sarah, you blog lurker: thanks for stepping into the light and sounding off.
Johnny Cash knew a boy named Sue, so I suppose somewhere there could be a boy named Sarah.
A blog confessional: not that I don't find your writing riveting, but I can't ever remember Lorie's blog so I have used your link a time or 2.
So I'm not as big a lurker as it would appear.
Ah, but that is the very definition of "blog lurker." I don't mean to imply that you only or even mostly lurk here. Your kind is much more insidious than that.
It does do my heart good that when you want to go to King's blog, you have to click on a link that calls her a nasty little gremlin.
