I've done everything from fall 60 feet off a cliff, to work an underground wrestling promotion, work as dj and music director for a gospel radio station, publish various kinds of writing for small, national journals, and I've spent a lot of time on the internet. But I don't want to try encapsulating myself in 1200 words. Read my stuff and you'll come to know me.

i would love to learn to play trombone again...I came close once but did nto have the proper time or teacher....in fact I had neither. Yes trombone or some hand drums, its great to releive tension.
Okay .. anyone else? My next column is going to be about instruments and friends. Namely, I'm going to tell which instruments my friends most resemble. It will be fun. And enlightening.
Some of you should be very afraid.
Mine would be the guitar, of course. Because it's portable.
But if I couldn't pick the guitar (for some bizarre reason unbeknownst to me), I'd have to say the cello.
I'd have to say a banjo, because I have an irritable disposition or at least Bobby thinks so. Seizure later...
Banjo would be good. Mandolin would be good too. Piano would be great. LAP STEEL DULCIMER!!! Yes, that's what it would be. The harp would be cool too. So would the sitar. Geez, why did you have to ask this? Now I'll be thinking about it for days!
I'd go with piano and I would get me a night gig at a piano bar. You can make some good tips with a job like that. And women love guys who play piano. Look at Elton John... and he's gay!
And then Cheryl and Lorie and I could get together and play a little "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown."
And don't forget "Car Wash Blues" and "I Fell In Love With A Roller Derby Queen."
